Tohru has lived in a tent almost her whole life even if she goes to school but everyone always wondered why she never invited them over its because 1. She lives in a tent because everything was taken away from her when her mother dies. She didn’t want to be a burden on her grandparents so she ran way. A few years later and a mud slide causes her to lose her tent with a picture of her mother in it. Luckily Yuki was walking past and saves her.
